National TEKAN/ECWA and CCN Youth Leaders Clarify Abuja Joint Convention, Call for Unity

The National TEKAN/ECWA Youth  Leader Rev. Jim James Amos & the National Youth CCN  Barr. Ekpa, Emmanuel make clarification on the  Abuja maiden joint convention organized by the two Bloc leadership towards strengthening Unity in Christ in Nigeria in a time like this and  urged all our invited Guests, fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to attend as Planned.

Recall that there was an earlier publication disclaiming the joint convention by Amb. Belusochikwu E were (the National YOWICAN Chairman ), this issue have been resolved and same abated by our revered Father of Faith and the Director of Youth Directorate.

In view of the forgoing, we urge  the public especially the Christian Community to disregard the earlier Notice as same is laid to rest, 

We also use this medium to invite all Christian youth to the maiden joint Convention celebrating Christian Diversity, strengthening and teaching Christ Unity, love and peace scheduled to hold as follow:

 Date : 21st February, 2025.
 Venue : The National Ecumenical Center, Royal Jubilee Hall, Central  Area, Abuja, the 
Time: 10:00am prompt.

Rev. Amos confirmed that there was error in the earlier Statement which was circulated without approval, saying the internal disagreement has been resolved and convention will still hold tomorrow as slated.

I written to all key Christians Youth stakeholders to convey the approval of YOWICAN and CAN  for TEKAN/ECWA in conjunction with CCN bloc to hold convention at Royal Choice Inn Abuja.

I want to called all members of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria for the 19 Northern States and FCT and all special Guest to attend the convention as planned.

We wish to informed  the general public, especially the Christian community, invitees, and awardees, to attend the  programme as planned and disregard the postponement announcement.

He further called on all security agencies to disregard the postponement information of the event.

The statement however informed and invited the  leadership of CAN, including its President, General Secretary, and Director of Youth, Women, and Education, as well as security agencies to attend the Event.
