The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has entered into a strategic partnership with the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) to boost job creation efforts targeting Nigerian youths.
The Director-General of the NDE, Silas Agara, welcomed a delegation from the NLTF, led by its new Executive Secretary, Mr. Tosin Adeyanju, to the agency's headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
During the meeting, Mr. Adeyanju highlighted the shared mission of the two organizations, stating that the collaboration would serve as a foundation for the development of impactful programs designed to address the growing demand for employment opportunities among the country's youth.
In his remarks, Agara praised the timing of the visit and the synergy between the two institutions, emphasizing that the partnership aligns with the mandate of the NDE.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate Adeyanju on his recent appointment, expressing optimism about the forthcoming initiatives that will not only create jobs but also generate long-lasting transformation for communities across Nigeria.
