The death of Alhaji Muhammad Jibo of tudun wada Zaria has occurred.
He died at age 92 on Wednesday after protracted illness in his residence at tudun wada, Zaria.
He survived by 3 wives, 10 children and many grandchildren. Among the children is late Yusuf Jibo, a veteran broadcaster who served in the Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, CNN and later Chairman, Governing board of the Kaduna State Media Corporation.
Alhaji Muhammad Jibo was a distinguished public servant of repute.
He served in the Nigerian Railway Corporation where he excelled and rose to the pinnacle of his career in the corporation.
He also served in different capacities in the Northern Government of Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Federal Commissioner of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and at various times Adviser to the Kaduna State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Until his death he was a Federal Commissioner at Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (FECC)
Late Alhkaji Jibo was conferred with the prestigious Membership of the Order of Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR).
