The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) and its partners are intensifying efforts to enhance the development of female football in Lagos State. In preparation for the upcoming Girl Child 1-day Football Development and Mentoring Programme, set to take place on Saturday, August 10th, from 9 am to 5 pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, the Lagos State Female Football Development Committee has been actively working to establish a sustainable and impactful female football ecosystem.
At a recent press conference organized by the Lagos State Football Association's Female Football Development Committee, Adedotun Coker, Vice-Chairman of the Lagos FA, praised the committee members, led by Alhaja Raliat Abdulsalam, for their commitment to this significant initiative. He expressed confidence in the committee's ability to elevate female football to new heights, beginning with the upcoming programme.
Alhaja Abdulsalam echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the committee's dedication to its mission of developing, mentoring, and providing a robust platform for young girls to pursue careers in football. She highlighted that the programme will not only focus on football but will also include life-impacting sessions on financial literacy and sports management.
Alhaja Abdulsalam also extended her gratitude to the sponsors and partners of the programme, including TopPro Sports Management, Lotus Bank, Lagos Tigers, Tingo, Alert Group, Ivory Health Club, 36 Lion Investment Limited, Ladies In Sports, and the Raliat Abdulsalam Foundation (RAF). She stressed the importance of maintaining a long-term relationship between the committee and its partners to ensure the continued success of female football development in the state.
With just days to go before the event, football stakeholders, enthusiasts, and investors across Lagos State are eagerly anticipating the programme on Saturday.
