Ahead of its upcoming 2024 congress, the Nasarawa State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has officially announced the zoning of key positions within its State Working Committee (SWC). The zoned positions are strategically allocated across various Local Government Areas (LGAs) to ensure balanced representation.
The allocations are as follows:
1. Chairman- Akwanga LGA
2. Deputy Chairman - Keana LGA
3. Secretary - Karu LGA
4. Women Leader- Obi LGA
5. Youth Leader- Doma LGA
6. Financial Secretary - Nasarawa Eggon LGA
7. Legal Adviser- Kokona LGA
8. Treasurer- Awe LGA
9. Public Relations Officer & Zonal Chairman - Lafia LGA
10. Organizing Secretary- Toto LGA
11.Auditor- Keffi LGA
12. Zonal Chairman (Nasarawa)- Nasarawa LGA
13. Zonal Chairman (Wamba)- Wamba LGA
This zoning arrangement reflects the party's commitment to equitable distribution of leadership roles and inclusive governance within the state.
The upcoming congress is expected to solidify the party's structure as it prepares for the 2024 electoral season.
