In a significant move to bolster economic development, the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, has approved the constitution of the Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency Governing Board.
The newly appointed Board will be led by Anga Fubara, SAN, who has been named Chairman.
Dr. Chamberline Peterside will serve as the Director-General, with Goodleaf Nmekini, Barr. Havey Ideozu, Baritor Lenusikpugi Kpagih, and Mrs. Tamunoibuemi Life-George serving as members of the Board. Mrs. Life-George will also hold the position of Secretary.
This announcement was made on August 28, 2024, and was signed by Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, the Secretary to the State Government.
