Emir of Gwandu Salutes Muslim Ummah, Advocates for Peace in New Islamic Year

Birnin Kebbi, Sunday - The Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu-Bashar, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah, urging them to promote peace, tolerance, and unity as they enter the new Islamic Year, 1446 Hijrah.

In a statement conveyed through Laminu Shehu Kuwwa, Secretary of the Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, the Emir emphasized the importance of being one's brother's keeper and maintaining harmony within the community.

The Monarch also extended his congratulations to Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, and the entire populace of Kebbi for witnessing another Islamic year in good health. 

He highlighted the significance of prayer for those in positions of authority, stressing that collective support is crucial for effective governance.

The Emir called on the people to back the current administration in its efforts to deliver democratic dividends diligently. 

He noted that peace is vital for the success of any government and urged everyone to collaborate in sustaining and promoting peace for the benefit of the state.
