Nasarawa Speaker's Easter, Sallah Gesture: Distributes Rice, Millet, and Cash to Kokona LGA

In the spirit of Easter and Sallah, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has extended a helping hand to the people of Kokona Local Government Area. Today, at his residence in Garaku, the Speaker distributed 350 bags of rice, 350 bags of millet, and N2 million in cash to uplift the standard of living in the region.

Expressing his commitment to positively impact the lives of constituents, Speaker Jatau allocated resources across various segments of society. Notably, each ward in Kokona West received 35 bags of rice, 35 bags of millet, and N150,000, while Kokona East, represented by his brother Hon Ogazi, received similar support. Additionally, political party executives, security agents, and other groups were not left out, receiving allocations of rice, millet, and financial assistance.

Emphasizing his dedication to continuous support, Speaker Jatau pledged ongoing efforts to provide employment opportunities, empowerment initiatives, and democratic dividends to the people of Kokona LGA. He urged beneficiaries to utilize the assistance for their betterment and encouraged unity, peace, and forgiveness for overall development.

Acknowledging the support of Governor Abdullahi Sule and constituents, Speaker Jatau highlighted ongoing developmental efforts in the state, particularly in road construction and infrastructure.

 As the community awaits decisions on local government elections, he urged calm and unity among stakeholders.

The gesture received commendation from various quarters, with stakeholders expressing gratitude and loyalty to Speaker Jatau and Governor Sule.

 Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the assistance and pledged continued support and prayers for the Speaker's endeavors.
