Member representing Doma South Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Musa Ibrahim Abubakar of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has issued political appointments to 14 members of All Progressives Congress (APC) from his constituency.
This he said was to enable them join him in contributing their quota positively to the development of the constituency and the State at large.
Hon. Musa, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs gave the appointments today in Lafia.
The Chairman, House Committee of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs said that the appointments was to fulfilled his campaign promises to his people.
He said that the appointment of the APC members was in line to his commitment to join Gov. Sule in developing the State.
He enjoined them to join the fight against insecurity in the locality as well as justify the trust reposed on them.
" You are also to help by reporting any security issue in your locality as the importance of peace to human and societal development could not be overemphasized
" As peace is priceless and non negotiable," he said
Hon Musa said that the appointment was part of his commitment to improve on the standard of living of his constituents.
He assured of his continued commitment to empowering his people to enable them become self reliant.
The lawmaker called on the people of his constituency to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule's administration in the State to enable him succeed.
Also speaking, Member representing Uke/Karshi Constituecy at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Musa Saidu Gude advised the beneficiaries not to betray Hon Musa Ekye in the discharge of their duties.
He also advised them to be loyal and supportive to the lawmaker at all times.
The lawmaker further urged them to live above board while discharging their duties
It would be reported that some of the beneficiaries appreciated Hon Musa for the appointment and promised not to fail him.
