In a bid to foster joy and support during the upcoming Sallah celebration, Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, representing Nasarawa Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has disbursed relief items worth N20 million to her constituents. The distribution, which took place at the Emir's Palace in Nasarawa LGA, aimed to enhance the standard of living for beneficiaries, particularly during the Ramadan period.
A total of 700 individuals from seven electoral wards benefited from the initiative, receiving essential items such as 100 bags of 50kg rice, 40 bags of 50kg NPK fertilizer, and 20 bags of millet. Additionally, 200 women were provided with wrappers, while 100 orphans received clothing materials alongside financial support for sewing.
Furthermore, religious leaders received rice and financial aid in preparation for Sallah festivities, emphasizing inclusivity and community support. The gesture extended to community leaders and ward committees, emphasizing a collective approach to distribution and welfare enhancement.
Hon. Hajarat stressed the importance of prudent use of the distributed items to improve livelihoods and ensure lasting impact within the constituency. She reaffirmed her commitment to providing effective representation and urged continued support from constituents and government stakeholders for sustained progress.
Commending the initiative, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, applauded Hon. Hajarat's dedication to improving the lives of her constituents. He encouraged ongoing support for her and Governor Abdullahi Sule, emphasizing the importance of unity for state development.
The Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Usman Ibrahim Jibrin, expressed gratitude for the gesture, praising Hon. Hajarat's leadership and commitment to community welfare. Beneficiaries echoed similar sentiments, appreciating the lawmaker's generosity and extending blessings for her continued success.
