Amidst the backdrop of an economic downturn, Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, has taken proactive measures to alleviate the plight of his constituents. In a recent move, he distributed 750 bags of 10kg rice and N2000 each to over 700 people across his constituency, spanning six electoral wards.
The distribution, which took place in Alagye village and Doma town, marks the second phase of Oyanki's palliative efforts. Addressing the beneficiaries, he emphasized the importance of utilizing the aid to mitigate the challenges posed by the prevailing economic crisis.
Expressing his commitment to inclusive representation, Oyanki assured that measures are in place to ensure no constituent is left behind. His actions garnered praise from Majority Leader of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Suleiman Yakubu Azara, who lauded Oyanki's dedication to the welfare of the community.
Beneficiaries, in turn, expressed gratitude for the timely assistance, highlighting its positive impact on their livelihoods. Oyanki's steadfast resolve to support his constituents during these challenging times underscores his unwavering dedication to service.
