The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced a significant increase in the registration fees for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage. Effective from today, the 24th of March, new registrations will be subject to revised pricing structures based on geographical zones.
From the Adamawa/Borno axis, fresh registrants will now incur the full sum of N8,225,464.74 for the Hajj pilgrimage. Meanwhile, individuals from the North zone will be required to pay N8,254,464.74, and those from the Southern zone will face a fee of N8,454,464.74.
It's important to note that all categories of registrants must adhere to the same deadline for payment. This adjustment in pricing aims to streamline the financial obligations associated with the pilgrimage while ensuring equitable contributions from pilgrims across various regions.
