Member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Mohammed Garba Isimbabi has urged parents to give adequate attention to the education of their children, especially, the girl child.
Hon Isimbabi made the call during the naming ceremony of his baby Girl named " Zara" at his residence in Keffi today, Saturday.
Hon Isimbabi appreciated his parents for sending him to school while praying God to bless them abundantly.
According to him, I want to call on parents to do everything humanly possible to send their children to schools especially the girl child, considering the importance of education to societal development.
" I feel glorified and happy over God's love and for giving me new born baby, which I named Zara meaning "Shining Star"
" My prayer is that God should protect my daughter, give her sound and good health as well as bless her," he said.
Isimbabi has assured of his readiness to ensure the proper upbringing of the child and other children.
“By God's grace, I will ensure her proper upbringing to enable her become better future leader,” he said.
Isimbabi assured the people of Toto/Gadabuke of more dividends of democracy and quality representation.
" The people of Toto/ Gadabuke will not regret voting me as I will continue to do my best for them.
" I have started by making available 1km road in Shafa Abakpa from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and more are coming, I will do more for my people, so I urged them to be patience " he said.
He appreciated all those who came from far and near to witness his daughter's naming ceremony and prayed God to bless them abundantly.
The Chairman, House Committee on Youth and Sports, has assured the people of his constituency of continued sound representation at the state legislature.
The lawmaker has further called on the people of his constituency to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities, live peacefully and tolerate one another.
On her part, the Wife and Mother to Zara, Mrs Falaq Isimbabi appreciated God for the new born baby girl and prayed God to grant all those that attended the naming ceremony safe journey to their various destinations.
Also speakings, Hon Onarigu Onah Kana and Hon Saad Ibrahim Abdullahi congratulated Hon Isimbabi over God's blessings to his family.
They have prayed God to protect and give the child sound and good health.
They used the medium to assure the people of their constituencies of people's oriented projects and programmes.
It would be reported that praise singers also had their field day.as the added colour to the occasion.
