Toto Local Government Council's Chairman, Honorable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, commended Deputy Chairman, Honorable (Alhaji) Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis, for initiating a people-oriented project in Toto. He described his deputy as hardworking, exceptionally loyal, and a silent achiever, attributing Kwanakis' efforts as instrumental in his own success in office.
"The water project, part of our electioneering campaign promises," mentioned Kwanakis, "reflects our commitment to fulfilling our pledges to the people."
During the commissioning of the multi-million naira water project initiated by Deputy Chairman Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis, Chairman Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas praised Kwanakis' dedication, urging others serving under his leadership to emulate such initiatives.
"I am delighted and impressed by your remarkable initiative. Your contribution as a deputy chairman under my administration to provide dividends of democracy to our people is truly commendable."
Chairman Tashas highlighted the strides made in addressing security, infrastructure, erosion, and empowerment under his administration, pledging continued commitment to further develop Toto LG.
Our correspondent reports that the council Chairman led several cabinet members, including Speaker Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ayizi-mazi, supervisory councilors, SAs, SSAs, CoS, PAs, and party stalwarts, at the commissioning event.
Deputy Chairman Abubakar Haruna Kwanaki's, also known as the Vice Chairman of Toto LG, acknowledged and appreciated the support from Chairman Tashas, attributing the success of his office to the Chairman's guidance.
"Without the Chairman's support, I wouldn't have accomplished this project and other empowerment programs over the years," said Kwanakis, praising Tashas as a visionary leader committed to uplifting Toto LG.
Expressing gratitude for the water project's completion, Kwanakis emphasized fulfilling election promises and complementing the Chairman's efforts in serving the people.
"The Executive Chairman has done a lot for our community. I'm merely supplementing his efforts to encourage and appreciate him for his contributions across the council."
Regarding the APC stakeholders' meeting in Toto, Kwanakis applauded Honorable Tashas for initiating the gathering, stating that it has reignited the party's commitment to its duties."
