Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, has urged Nigerians to embrace unity, love, tolerance and show understanding to one another for the overall development of the country.
Speaker Jatau made the call while addressing the people during traditional marriage between Ashehe James Esson and Mr Joseph Kaduna in Farin Kasa village, Lafia Local Government Area of the State.
He eulogized the good attributes of the father of the brde, James, describing him as a man of peace and unity.
The Speaker used the medium to called on the people of the state to shun religious and ethnic differences for the overall development of the state.
" I want to call on all of us to see each other as one, it is God that created human being with different backgrounds
" Let's continue to embrace unity and peace for the overall development of the state and the country at large.
The Speaker called on the people of the state to support Gov Abdullahi Sule's administration to succeed in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
" His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule is doing well in the area of peace and infrastructural development among other sectors of the economy.
" Let's all continue to support him to succeed in order to enable us enjoy more dividends of democracy," he said
The Speaker assured of his leadership readiness to give Gov. Sule maximum support to succeed.
It would be reported that in the entourage of the Speaker were Hon. Solomon Akwashiki of Lafia Central constituency and Hon.Barr.Esson Mairiga of Lafia North constituency among others.
