The Breeze FM Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) has charged newly appointed Commissioner-nominees by Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, to consolidate on the achievements of the administration and further transform governance in the state.

The Chapel Chairman, Comrade Mohammed Iliyasu Garba, gave the charge when he led members of the chapel on a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Officer of Breeze FM and Commissioner-nominee, Dr. Nawani Aboki, to congratulate him on his appointment.
Garba described the appointment as timely and well deserved, noting that Dr. Aboki's experience in leadership, politics, peace-building and youth mentorship would enable him to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.

He urged the commissioner-nominee and his colleagues to provide people-oriented leadership, especially at the grassroots, while ensuring inclusiveness and carrying all stakeholders along in the discharge of their responsibilities.

The NUJ chairman expressed optimism that Dr. Aboki would add value to the Sule administration and assured him of the support of the Breeze FM Chapel throughout his tenure.
He also called on the nominee to use his new position to promote peace, unity and development across Nasarawa State.

Aboki Pledges Support for Journalists’ Welfare
Responding, Dr. Nawani Aboki thanked the NUJ Breeze FM Chapel for the solidarity visit and congratulatory message.

He pledged to work closely with the leadership of the NUJ in Nasarawa State towards improving the welfare and professional development of journalists.

Dr. Aboki said his appointment should be regarded as an achievement for the entire Breeze FM family, assuring that he would remain committed to the collective interest of the organisation and the people of Nasarawa State.

Also speaking, a former Head of the Civil Service, Mr. Nicholas Abari Aboki, urged Breeze FM staff to maintain good conduct and uphold the reputation of the organisation and its leadership wherever they found themselves.

In a related development, the APC candidate for Awe/Doma/Keana Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Ibrahim Araf; member representing Rukubi Ward in Ekye Administrative Council, Josiah Ozotu; and former DPM, Mr. Terry Adagowoso, among others, visited Dr. Aboki to congratulate him on his appointment.

Dr. Aboki appreciated the delegation for identifying with him at the time of his appointment and assured them that he would not disappoint Governor Abdullahi Sule or the people of Nasarawa State.
He pledged to contribute his experience and expertise towards the success of the administration and the overall development of the state.
