Wadada’s Wife Secures Emir’s Blessing for ₦325m Women Support Programme

The wife of the Nasarawa State APC governorship flag bearer, Hajiya Maryam Wadada, has sought the royal blessing of the Emir of Lafia, His Royal Highness Hon. Dr. Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I, ahead of a statewide intervention programme targeting vulnerable women.
Hajiya Maryam Wadada, accompanied by members of her team, paid a formal visit to the revered monarch to brief him on the initiative, which will see donations worth over ₦325 million distributed to vulnerable women across the 13 Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State.
The
programme, according to the organisers, is aimed at alleviating the economic hardship faced by women and supporting vulnerable households amid the prevailing economic challenges.
During the visit, Hajiya Maryam Wadada requested the Emir's prayers and royal blessings for the success of the initiative and its impact on beneficiaries across the state.
The planned intervention is expected to extend support to women at the grassroots, with beneficiaries drawn from all 13 Local Government Areas.
The initiative is being presented as a major women-focused intervention aimed at providing immediate relief and strengthening the economic wellbeing of vulnerable women in Nasarawa State.
