Nasarawa Female Law Students Seek Partnership with Attorney General Ahead of Justice Symposium

The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, on Tuesday received members of the Female Law Students Association of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), in his office on a familiarization visit.
The delegation, led by the Association's President, Maiwada Rashida, said the visit was aimed at introducing the association to the Attorney General and officials of the Ministry of Justice while exploring areas of collaboration.
According to Rashida, the association is seeking the support and partnership of the Office of the Attorney General for its forthcoming symposium themed: "Women, Law and Justice: Bridging Policing and Prosecution."
She noted that the symposium is designed to promote discussions on the role of women in the administration of justice and strengthen collaboration between legal practitioners, law enforcement agencies and aspiring female lawyers.
Responding, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, commended the students for their initiative and commitment to advancing legal education and promoting women's participation in the justice sector.
He described the theme of the symposium as timely and relevant, stressing the importance of collaboration among key justice sector stakeholders in promoting the rule of law and improving access to justice.
Barr. Danladi assured the students of the ministry's readiness to support initiatives that contribute to legal development, mentorship and capacity building for young professionals, particularly female law students.
The delegation included the Vice President, Lawal Arafat; Treasurer, Anna Ibrahim Warah; Director of Welfare, Dikko Asma'u Husnah; and the External Affairs Coordinator, Dalhatu Fatima Chiroma, among other members of the association.
