Nasarawa AG Tasks Christian Law Students on Godliness, Academic Excellence
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has charged Christian law students of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), to uphold the fear of God, remain diligent in their studies, and cultivate virtues that will distinguish them in the legal profession.
Barr. Danladi gave the charge on Tuesday when he received a delegation of the Christian Law Students Fellowship (CLASFON), NSUK Chapter, in his office at the Justice House, Lafia.
The Attorney General emphasized that a strong relationship with God remains the foundation for success, urging the students to combine academic excellence with integrity, discipline, and moral uprightness.
He encouraged members of the fellowship to promote unity, mentor one another, and embrace constructive criticism as a means of personal growth and academic advancement.
According to him, "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. As members of the fellowship, you should continually encourage one another, support yourselves academically and spiritually, and always strive for excellence."
Drawing from his experience as a law student, Barr. Danladi advised the aspiring lawyers to remain focused on their studies, avoid negative influences, and equip themselves with the knowledge and character required to excel in the legal profession and contribute meaningfully to society.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Caleb H. Yakub, said the visit was to identify with the Attorney General and seek mentorship from his wealth of legal experience, leadership qualities, and outstanding contributions to the justice sector.
He commended Barr. Danladi for his exemplary service and commitment to the administration of justice, describing him as a worthy role model for young legal practitioners.
Other members of the delegation included the Fellowship's Vice President, Michael Ruth; Secretary, Emma Ebolonye Ogana; and Danjuma Benjamin Oklo, among others.
