2027: Stakeholders Drum Support for Yusuf Atela Agye’s Nasarawa Assembly Bid
Urge Him to Contest Keana Constituency Seat on NDC Platform

As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum across Nasarawa State, stakeholders in Keana Local Government Area have called on Yusuf Atala Agye to contest for the Keana Constituency seat in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
The call, which is gaining attention among political supporters and community groups within the constituency, was said to have stemmed from Yusuf Atala Agye’s grassroots engagement, leadership qualities and commitment to community development.
Some of the stakeholders who spoke on the development described him as a credible and experienced figure capable of providing effective representation for the people of Keana constituency if elected in 2027.
They noted that the constituency requires purposeful leadership that would focus on youth empowerment, infrastructural development, education, healthcare and improved welfare for rural communities.
According to the supporters, Yusuf Atala Agye’s political experience and relationship with the people position him as one of the personalities capable of strengthening democratic representation in the constituency.
The stakeholders further appealed to him to heed the growing calls and join the race in order to contribute meaningfully to the development of Keana Local Government Area and Nasarawa State at large.
Political observers believe the development signals the beginning of intense political consultations and alignments ahead of the 2027 elections in Nasarawa State.
