Says Governor’s Track Record Justifies Move to Represent Nasarawa North

Q: What is your position on Governor Abdullahi Sule’s ambition to contest for the Senate in 2027?
A: My position remains firm. Governor Abdullahi Sule has delivered on his mandate in Nasarawa State, and his performance clearly qualifies him to represent Nasarawa North Senatorial District at the Senate.
His leadership has brought visible transformation across the state.
Q: Can you highlight some of the key infrastructural projects executed under his administration?
A: Certainly. Among the notable projects are the construction of a gigantic State Secretariat in Lafia, dual carriage road projects, and the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu Interchange and flyover in Lafia.
In addition, there are ongoing flyover constructions in Akwanga, Keffi, and Karu.
These projects are part of a broader development agenda that cuts across all the 13 local government areas of the state.
Q: How have these projects impacted the lives of the people?
A: These projects have significantly improved transportation, boosted economic activities, and enhanced the overall outlook of our urban centers.
They have also created employment opportunities and opened up communities for further investment and growth.
Q: What makes you confident that he will perform better at the Senate?
A: His track record gives me that confidence. Governor Sule is result-oriented and understands governance at both the state and national levels.
I strongly believe that when given the opportunity, he will attract more federal presence and developmental projects to Nasarawa North.
Q: What is your response to critics of his ambition?
A: Frankly, only those who are not interested in development would oppose his ambition.
His achievements are visible for all to see, and his intentions are in the best interest of the people.
Q: Which areas in Nasarawa North stand to benefit the most?
A: Akwanga, Nasarawa, and Wamba Local Government Areas, among others, will witness tremendous development.
However, the entire Nasarawa North Senatorial District will benefit from his representation.
Q: Are these developments limited to certain areas or spread across the state?
A: The developments are spread across all 13 local government areas.
The administration has ensured inclusiveness in project distribution, ensuring that no part of the state is left behind.
Q: What is your message to stakeholders and the electorate ahead of 2027?
A: I call on all and sundry, traditional rulers, political leaders, youths, and women, to unite and support Governor Abdullahi Sule’s senatorial ambition.
This is an opportunity to consolidate on the gains already recorded and move Nasarawa North to greater heights.
Q: Finally, what is your overall assessment of Governor Sule’s administration?.
A: My overall assessment is that it has been impactful and development-driven.
The administration has laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth, and supporting his transition to the Senate will ensure continuity and expansion of these achievements.
