Celebrating Hayatudeen Atiku Awwal Stride's in Mortgages, Housing at Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank FHAMB at Birthday

For Alhaji Hayatudeen Atiku Awwal FNIQS, the Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank FHAMB, the hub of mortgages and housing in Nigeria, deploying the Federal Housing Authority, FHA as springboard to reach out to ordinary Nigerians, seeking for a befitting shelter in the country is unwavering.
Hayatudeen, the protagonist and initiator of " Rent to Own " has resolved the crisis of not only owing a house , but resolving accomodation problems and crises bedeviling low income earners, the middle income and high income owners in the country.
The Managing Director who prioritised both low income earners and middle class that led to the construction and inculcation of the new "Rent to Own" policy that reduced to the barest minimum the growing agitations for accomodation by poor Nigerians.
In the last four years , the Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank FHAMB through the parent ministry, Federal Housing Authority, FHA established the program along with the construction of housing estates across the country.
Aside encouraging the Authority to resolve accomodation problems for ordinary Nigerians who cannot afford other higher units of houses been built by the FHA, Hayatudeen also encouraged construction companies who are young Nigerians to vouch into Real Estate Developers and Management Agencies in Nigeria .
For instance, the construction of Express View Housing Estates in Lugbe, Abuja among many others was handled by construction companies engineers of less than fourty years , among many others spread across Nigeria.
Aside creating housing opportunities directly , the Bank also disbursed 19 Billion Naira to over 900 beneficiaries with a growth of 27 Billion Naira in 2025 as mortgages, with enability of creating more funds and mortgages in 2026 and coming year .
In the last few years under review, the Managing Director has engaged in various housing agreements, partnerships and Memorandum understandings with both local and foreign investors in Housing and Mortgages.
Through the creation of Mortgages and Building of houses , the leadership of the Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank, FHAMB under Hayatudeen Atiku Awwal extended their areas of operation to states across the country, with both private and public sector involvement.
Aside the success story of availement, the Bank embarked on the construction of a magnificent high rise head office after many years of the existence of the Bank, in line with the mission and vision of the Bank.
With the milestone, the Managing Director earned many accolades both from the previous management of the Federal Housing Authority, FHA and the current leadership over his dedication to duty.
