Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim Distributes 700 Bags of Rice, Car, Other Palliatives to Constituents
Hon. Tijani Aliyu Ahmed Donates N1m, Passes Vote of Confidence, Urges Her Re-Election Beyond 2027

The only female member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Nasarawa Central Constituency, Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, has distributed millions of naira worth of food items and materials to her constituents as part of her 2026 “Ramadan and Sallah Palliatives” programme.
The distribution ceremony, held at the Nasarawa Local Government Secretariat, saw beneficiaries receive 700 bags of 7.5kg rice, 300 wrappers for women, 170 pieces of clothing materials (Agbada, Baban Riga and Sheda), 20 bags of millet, and a car.
Dr. Danyaro said the gesture was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of her constituents and improving their standard of living before, during and after the holy month of Ramadan.
“This is my tenth distribution since I assumed office. By the grace of God, I will continue to support my people and provide the needed dividends of democracy,” she stated.
She urged beneficiaries not to sell the items but to use them for the intended purpose, assuring them of her continued quality representation at the state legislature.
The lawmaker also called on her constituents to continue to support Governor Abdullahi Sule and other leaders to succeed, while encouraging unity, peace and love irrespective of political affiliations.
N1 Million Support, Vote of Confidence
The Chairman of the occasion and Federal Commissioner/CEO of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, Tijani Aliyu Ahmed,
commended Dr. Danyaro for prioritizing the welfare of her constituents.
He passed a vote of confidence on her leadership and donated N1 million in support of the programme, calling on the people of Nasarawa Central to rally behind her and ensure her re-election beyond 2027.
Traditional, Political Leaders Applaud Gesture
In their goodwill messages, the Emir of Nasarawa, Ibrahim Usman Jibril (represented by the Wambai of Nasarawa), State APC Chairman Aliyu Bello (represented by the APC Zonal Chairman, Nasarawa West), and other political and community leaders lauded the lawmaker for her consistent support to the people.
They urged constituents to sustain their support for her administration beyond 2027.
The Chief Imam of Makama Dogo Mosque, Ustaz Umar Abdullahi Bala, described Ramadan as a month of charity, sacrifice and love, encouraging wealthy individuals to assist the less privileged.
He prayed for greater reward and divine blessings for the lawmaker.
Beneficiaries also expressed appreciation for the gesture, pledging their loyalty and continued support for Dr. Danyaro’s leadership.
With the latest intervention marking her tenth empowerment initiative since assuming office, political observers say the Nasarawa Central lawmaker has further consolidated her grassroots support base ahead of future political contests.
