The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has arrived in Swakopmund, Namibia, to participate in the 90th Executive Committee Meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) African Region.
The high-level parliamentary summit, which commenced on Monday, March 2, 2026, is scheduled to conclude on Friday, March 6, 2026.

The meeting brings together lawmakers and parliamentary leaders from across CPA member countries to deliberate on key governance, legislative, and international cooperation matters.

Dr. Jatau, a member of the Finance and Budget Committee of the CPA, joined fellow parliamentarians at the international gathering aimed at strengthening democratic institutions and promoting best legislative practices across the Commonwealth.

The Nasarawa State number three citizen, who also serves as Vice Chairman (North) of the Nigeria APC Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining global partnerships that enhance effective lawmaking and institutional development.

According to him, participation in international parliamentary engagements provides a strategic platform to exchange ideas, share legislative experiences, and adopt global best practices tailored to local realities.
