Coalition and critical stakeholders of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Agaie Local government area of Niger State at the Weekend in a large turn out endorsed Abdullahi Ndagi Mahmud for the third term tenure to represent the Agaie Lapai Federal Constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
The mega endorsement which brought together all party stalwarts of the local government passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Bago for second.
It was the gathering of who is who in the APC Agaie Local government, from the party leaders, stalwarts support groups women and youths on this mega endorsement agenda tagged Tinubu/Bago Matawalle continuity 2027.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the endorsement of the Leader Bago Matawale Continuity Agenda (BMCA) in Agaie,Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Kabido eulogized the Hon. Abdullahi Ndagi Mahmud for utilizing his constituencies allowances on the people of Agaie Lapai Federal Constituencies in the last eight years
According to Alhaji Aliyu Kabido who is also the Dan Darman Agaie,,his eight years representation in the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly has brought about infrastructural development in his two Federal Constituencies which he pointed out has direct bearing on the people.
He listed among his projects in the two Federal Constituencies to include construction of some rural road networks,construction of some drainages in Agaie township and Lapai and renovation of Primary and secondary schools within the two Federal Constituencies as well as the conversion of the room in the Agaie General Hospital to an emergency ward.
Kabido described the infrastructure developmental projects of Hon. Abdullahi Ndagi Mahmud was overwhelming hence his endorsement to continue with his projects to the people of Agaie and Lapai Federal Constituencies.
The support organisations individually declared their endorsement and passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Bago for second term and Abdullahi Mahmud for third term as member representing Agaie Lapai Federal Constituency.
They maintained that the endorsement is anchored on the belief that continuity in national leadership provides the stability required for long-term reforms, institutional consolidation, and the maturation of ongoing socio-economic and governance interventions
across the country and the grassroot.
On their Federal lawmaker, the group affirm that his leadership has not only met but, in many respects, surpassed the expectations of the 8 years social contract entrusted to him by the people as his first and second term has laid a solid foundation for continuity, consolidation of gains, institutional strengthening, and accelerated development.
The support organisations believe that disrupting this trajectory of service-driven representation at this stage would be counterproductive to the long-term development interests of Agaie Lapai
The Federal Lawmaker Abdullahi Mahmud Matawallen Agaie appreciated the support and endorsement by APC Agaie saying the gesture underscored his commitment to sustaining quality representation.
He pointed to some of the achievements he recorded to include the provision of pensionable employment opportunities for qualified sons and daughters of the constituency Provision of critical social infrastructure, including power transformers, addressing long-standing infrastructural deficits and improving access to quality education and electricity in underserved communities.
The symbolic gathering has practically demonstrated the confidence of APC Agaie in the purposeful representation of Matawallen Agaie in the Nigerian Green Chamber, promising to stand firmly with him as he continues this journey of purposeful service and people-oriented representation.
