7th Anniversary: Speaker Jatau Felicitates Emir of Lafia, Hails Monarch as Symbol of Unity

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has congratulated the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed (Rtd), on the occasion of his seventh anniversary on the throne, describing him as a symbol of peace, unity, and purposeful leadership.
Speaker Jatau, who joined other well-meaning citizens in celebrating the revered monarch, noted that the Emir’s seven years of stewardship have been marked by exceptional leadership, impactful service, and significant contributions to both Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large.
He commended the royal father for his unwavering commitment to fostering peace, unity, and development, describing him as a role model, a pillar of stability, and a bridge builder whose influence continues to inspire harmony across communities.
The Speaker further lauded the Chairman of the Nasarawa State Traditional Council of Chiefs for his dedication to the welfare of the vulnerable, particularly his advocacy against child abuse and his strong support for improved access to education, especially for the girl child.
Rt. Hon. Jatau called on citizens to continue offering prayers and unwavering support to the Emir to enable him consolidate on the solid foundation he has laid for the overall benefit of society.
He prayed for Almighty God to grant the Emir of Lafia long life, good health, and greater wisdom as he continues to lead his people in the years ahead.
