The Nasarawa State Government has approved the payment of a 50 per cent end-of-year salary bonus to civil servants across the state, with disbursement scheduled to commence on December 27, 2025.
The announcement was made in a press release issued by the Office of the Accountant General of Nasarawa State, following the approval of the bonus by the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule.
According to the statement, the bonus, described as the first of its kind since the creation of Nasarawa State, underscores the administration’s firm commitment to the welfare of workers and the overall well-being of citizens.
The press release noted that the gesture is a clear demonstration of Governor Sule’s appreciation of the dedication, resilience, and selfless service of civil servants to the development of the state throughout the year.
It further explained that payment of the bonus would be made separately from the December 2025 salaries, in line with approved accounting procedures and for administrative convenience.
While wishing citizens a peaceful and joyful holiday season, the Accountant General expressed optimism that civil servants would reciprocate the Governor’s magnanimity with renewed dedication and improved service delivery.
The statement was signed by the State Accountant General, Rt. Hon. Musa Ahmad Mohammed.
