Former Keffi LG Chairman, Ex-Two-Term Commissioner, Engr. Idris Muhammad Idris Dies After Prolonged Illness
Nasarawa State has been thrown into mourning following the death of a former Chairman of Keffi Local Government Area and two-term Commissioner, Engr. Idris Muhammad Idris, who passed away after a prolonged illness at a hospital in Abuja.
The late Idris served as Commissioner for Special Education as well as Commissioner in the Ministry of Works, Transport and Housing, where he made notable contributions to infrastructural development and public service delivery in the state.
Family sources confirmed that he died in Abuja after battling a protracted illness, bringing an end to a life of dedicated service to both his community and Nasarawa State at large.
Tributes have continued to pour in from political associates, government officials, and community leaders, who described him as a committed technocrat and a dependable public servant.
