The Zazzau Emirate council has suspended village head of Hayin Dogo, Samaru under Basawa District of Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mallam Musa indefinitely for turbaning one Alhaji Usman Baba Abubakar as Sardaunan Hayin, last Saturday which coincided with the turbaning of Arch Muhammadu Namadi Sambo Sardaunan Zazzau same without the consent of the District head and approval of the Emirate.
This is contained in a statement by the Emirate spokesman, Mallam Abdullahi kwarbai which went viral on Tuesday.
It also warned the illegally turbaned title holder to desist parading himself as b Sardaunan Hayin dogo.
The Statement read partly "The Zazzau Emirate Council has been made aware of circulating news regarding the alleged turbaning of Alhaji Usman Baba Abubakar as Sardaunan Hayin Dogo by the Village Head of Hayin Dogo, Malam Shehu Musa, under Basawa District.
"The Emirate Council wishes to clarify that the District Head and the Emirate were not informed or involved in the appointment and the turbaning ceremony, which coincided with that of former Vice-President Architect Muhammadu Namadi Sambo, GCON, Sardaunan Zazzau.
"In the light of this, the Zazzau Emirate Council has, with immediate effect, suspended the Village Head of Hayin Dogo, Mallam Shehu Muda indefinitely and disassociates itself from Alhaji Usman Baba Abubakar, warning him to desist from using the title of Sardaunan Hayin Dogo.
"The general public is also hereby informed that the Emirate Council is investigating the misuse of titles by District Heads and will sanction anybody found wanting.
