The Chairman House Committee on Education, Kaduna State of Assembly who doubles as Member representing Zaria City Constituency in the House, Hon Mahmud Lawal popularly know as Bola Ige had Congratulated Nigerians as the Country marked 65 years anniversary.
He described the day as a moment of gratitude and reflection.
The lawmaker noted that despite the challenges confronting the nation, Nigerians have every reasons to thank God Almighty for sustaining the country’s unity and progress since independence.
He said “Independence anniversary gives us yet another opportunity to thank God Almighty for preserving us despite the challenges,
“This is a time to set aside the narrative of division, violence and hate, and replace them with the narrative of peace, love and unity. It is also a moment to reflect on how we can all contribute to strengthening our dear country.”
Hon Bola Ige reaffirmed his commitment to promoting education and good governance in Kaduna State, while urging citizens to continue to uphold values of patriotism, tolerance, and resilience.
He therefore called on populace to continue to Governments policies at both State National levels to allow for people oriented projects that have direct bearing with common man.
