A socio-political group has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Hon. Hajiya Halima Jabiru Ahmadu as Commissioner, Federal Character Commission (FCC), representing Nasarawa State.
The group described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Hon. Jabiru’s dedication, integrity, and long-standing commitment to fairness and equitable representation in public service.
In a statement made available to journalists in Lafia, the group expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for “identifying and rewarding competence and loyalty,” noting that Hon. Jabiru’s appointment reflects the administration’s confidence in capable women who have distinguished themselves in leadership.
The statement further described Hon. Hajiya Halima Jabiru Ahmadu as “a woman of strength, grace, and steadfast commitment to justice and equity,” adding that her new role at the Federal Character Commission will strengthen efforts toward balanced representation and inclusion across the federation.
The group pledged its full support to the Tinubu-led administration and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing good governance, equity, and unity in Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large.
They also congratulated Hon. Jabiru on her new appointment, expressing confidence that she will discharge her duties with excellence, transparency, and compassion for all Nigerians.
