The Al’Ihsan Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to youth and women empowerment, has appointed the Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, as its Patron, in recognition of his exemplary service, steadfast commitment to justice, and contributions to good governance in the state.

During a courtesy visit to the Attorney General in Lafia, the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Ibrahim Bashir Yamaran, led a delegation of officials to formally present the letter of appointment and congratulate Barr. Danladi on his recent assumption of office as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.

Yamaran, while speaking, described the appointment as a symbolic recognition of Barr. Danladi’s integrity, leadership qualities, and dedication to public service.

He emphasized that the Foundation’s mission is centered on grassroots empowerment and human capital development, particularly among youths and women across the 36 states of the federation.

Presenting the appointment letter, the Foundation stated that Barr. Danladi’s recognition was “in appreciation of his exemplary service to the legal profession, unwavering dedication to justice and good governance, and his distinguished contribution to the development of Nasarawa State.”

As Patron, Barr. Danladi is expected to provide advisory guidance, lend his voice to advocacy efforts, and serve as a symbol of integrity and inspiration to members and stakeholders of the Foundation.

In his response, Barr. Isaac Danladi expressed profound appreciation to the Foundation for the honor, describing the appointment as both a privilege and a call to greater service.

He commended the Foundation for its consistent commitment to youth and women development and assured of his continuous support toward the success of its initiatives.

“I thank you for finding me worthy of this recognition,” he said. “Al’Ihsan Foundation is not new to me; we have shared a cordial relationship over the years. This appointment will further inspire me to contribute more to the empowerment of our people and the advancement of our state.”

The Attorney General further charged members of the Foundation to actively sensitize citizens to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing that only those with voter’s cards can elect credible leaders who will deliver good governance and sustainable development.

He also cautioned them not to allow themselves to be used by self-centered politicians, urging them instead to remain focused on nation-building, integrity, and community development.

Barr. Danladi encouraged the group to continue supporting the administration of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule and the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that unity and civic participation are essential for sustainable progress in the state.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a symbolic plaque to the Attorney General, marking his formal induction as Patron of the Al’Ihsan Foundation Education and Empowerment for Youth and Women Initiative.
