Governor Abdullahi Sule has approved the appointment of Timothy Anjide, a former Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State (SSG), as the pioneer Chairman of the Governing Board of the Nasarawa State Education Trust Fund.
In a statement issued on Friday, the current Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, also announced the appointment of Abubakar Idris Adamu as the Executive Secretary of the fund.
Other members named to the board include Professor Dalhatu Musa Yusha’u, Basiru Sharubutu Abubakar, and Adamu Kayinu Nikre.
Magaji stated that the appointments take immediate effect, noting that the appointees will be formally inaugurated in due course.
The Nasarawa State Education Trust Fund, initiated by Governor Sule’s administration, is designed to strengthen and finance infrastructural development in the state’s education sector, ensuring improved learning facilities and long-term sustainability.
