Former Nigerian Minister and one-time Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator (Barrister) Solomon Aku Ewuga, has reportedly passed away.
A source close to the family revealed that he had been battling an undisclosed illness before his death.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official confirmation from his family or the Nasarawa State Government.
Ewuga, a prominent lawyer and seasoned politician, held several strategic positions during his decades of public service.
He served as Nigeria’s Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and earlier as Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, where he was widely recognized for his role in shaping policy and driving development initiatives.
Throughout his political career, Ewuga was respected across party lines for his commitment to the growth of Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large.
Colleagues and political associates have described him as a bridge builder who championed education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
