The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has received the Matawallen Toto Boys in his office at the Ministry of Justice, Lafia.
The group, led by Comrade Lukman Ganuwa Toto, said their visit was to familiarize themselves with the Commissioner, congratulate him on his appointment, and commend him for his performance since assuming office.
The delegation further emphasized that they were also in his office as boys of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, SAN, who hails from the area.
In his response, Barr. Danladi warmly welcomed the group, describing the visit as a “homecoming.” He expressed appreciation for their patience, noting that the day had been a particularly busy one.
“I have had a wonderful relationship with Matawalle himself, and we thank His Excellency, the Executive Governor, our principal and leader, for appointing him as SSG. We, his people, do not take this for granted.
The SSG has not disappointed and will never disappoint,” Danladi said.
The Attorney General praised the SSG for his energy, commitment, and capacity in managing the affairs of the government, describing him as the “engine room” of the administration.
He urged the group to continue supporting the SSG, stressing that such support automatically translates to support for Governor Abdullahi Sule and the state as a whole.
“If you support him, by implication, you are supporting His Excellency the Governor A.A. Sule, and by extension, Nasarawa State.
As far as Toto is concerned, it is APC, APC, and APC. Others are just a coalition of internally displaced politicians moving around trying to cause confusion. The harder they come, the harder we too are going to fight,” he stated.
Danladi called for renewed commitment, love, and loyalty to the governor, the SSG, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), assuring that with unity, Nasarawa would continue to move forward.
The visit was described as symbolic and reaffirmed the political alignment of Toto youths behind the state government.
