The Global Alliance for Peace and Unity has honoured Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ambassador Barr. Isaac Danladi, for his outstanding contributions to promoting peace, justice, and unity within the state and across Nigeria.
The award was presented during a courtesy visit by the National President of the Alliance, Hon. Solomon Pevkyaa, and his delegation to the Justice House in Lafia.
In his remarks, Ambassador Danladi expressed deep appreciation for the recognition, noting that justice remains the foundation for peace and unity in any society. He commended the Alliance for championing national harmony and described the honour as one he would always cherish.
“Where there is no justice, there can be no peace; and without peace, unity cannot thrive.
This recognition strengthens my resolve to continue serving humanity,” Danladi stated, while apologizing for his unavoidable absence at the recent Peace Summit organized by the Alliance in Abuja.
He used the occasion to reaffirm his gratitude and unwavering loyalty to Governor Abdullahi Sule, acknowledging the Governor’s leadership and support in advancing peace and justice in the state.
Earlier, Hon. Pevkyaa congratulated Ambassador Danladi on his appointment and praised his humility, accessibility, and consistent support for peace initiatives.
He explained that the Alliance, which has been advocating for peace nationwide for over a decade and was formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission five years ago, is committed to fostering inclusivity and dialogue across communities.
The visit also reflected the organization’s diversity values, with gender and religious representation symbolizing the unity they promote.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening peace and justice in Nasarawa State and across Nigeria.
