A frontline aspirant for the office of National President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in the 2026 elections, Barr. Olayinkasolo Badejo-Okusanya, popularly known as Mrs. B, has visited the Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice as part of her wider consultation across the country.
She was received by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, in the company of the Permanent Secretary and other senior directors of the ministry.
Barr. Badejo-Okusanya, accompanied by Barr. Mrs. Chika Okolie, explained that they were in Lafia to attend a dinner organized by the Nasarawa State branch of the NBA in honour of the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Labaran Magaji, PhD.
Following the dinner, Barr. Badejo-Okusanya also used the opportunity to formally express her interest and intention to contest for the position of National President of the NBA, as part of her ongoing national consultation and engagement with legal stakeholders.
In his remarks, Attorney General Barr. Isaac Danladi appreciated the visit and, on behalf of the ministry, wished her success in her ambition.
He later led the visitors on a guided tour of the ministry’s facilities, highlighting equipment and upgrades undertaken through the support of the state government.
