Two members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly have emphasized the need for a stronger partnership between the legislative arm and the Ministry of Justice, calling for deeper collaboration in advancing justice and good governance.
The lawmakers, Hon. Ebel Bala, representing Nasarawa Eggon West Constituency, and Hon. David Onarigu Onah Kana of Udege/Loko Constituency made the call during a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, at his office in Lafia.
During the visit, the legislators also extended their heartfelt congratulations to Barr. Isaac Danladi on his recent appointment and formal entry into the Nasarawa State Executive Council.
They described his elevation as well-deserved, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver on the mandate of the Ministry of Justice.
In his response, the Attorney General, Barr. Isaac Danladi, thanked the lawmakers for their visit and kind words, noting that the Ministry of Justice is open to working hand-in-hand with the legislature in order to promote transparency, accountability, and a sound legal framework for the state.
He pledged continued support for legislative initiatives that seek to enhance justice delivery in Nasarawa State.
