The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has been honoured with an award for his remarkable contributions to youth and sports development in the state.
The award was formally presented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Yakubu Kwanta, on behalf of the organisers of the Baraden Nasarawa Cup 2025, a grassroots football competition aimed at fostering unity, talent discovery, and youth engagement across Nasarawa State.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Kwanta described Barr. Danladi as a strong pillar of support whose dedication to empowering the younger generation has been instrumental in the success of youth-focused programmes in the state.
In his response, Barr. Isaac Danladi expressed profound appreciation for the recognition, noting that the honour would further encourage him to continue supporting initiatives that promote the development and welfare of young people.
“This recognition is not just for me, but for all those who believe in the power of youth and the unifying role of sports in community development,” he said.
The Baraden Nasarawa Cup has grown into one of the most anticipated sporting events in the state, drawing participation from various local government areas and showcasing emerging football talents.
