The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has announced the postponement of the scheduled screening of Administrators and Members of the 18 Area Administrative Councils across the state.
The screening exercise, earlier fixed for Monday, May 19, 2025, will now take place on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Assembly Complex, Shendam Road, Lafia, by 10:00 a.m.
This development was contained in a statement signed by the Clerk of the House, Mr. Ibrahim Musa, and made available to journalists in Lafia on Saturday.
The statement expressed regret over any inconvenience the change may have caused and emphasized that the House remains open to receiving 30 copies of Curriculum Vitae (CVs) from the prospective appointees up to the close of work on Monday, May 19, 2025.
The Assembly reassures the public of its commitment to due process and a transparent screening exercise.
