The Honourable Commissioner for Education in Nasarawa State, Dr. John Mamman, has been conferred with an Award of Excellence by the College of Education, Zuba, Abuja, during its 5th National Conference held earlier today.
The award, presented as part of the institution’s annual flagship event, recognises outstanding individuals for their exceptional contributions to education and nation-building.
Dr. Mamman, a seasoned educationist and administrator, was honoured for his strategic reforms and unwavering commitment to improving the quality of education in Nasarawa State. Under his leadership, the state has recorded significant progress in policy implementation, infrastructure development, and educational access across various levels.
Expressing his appreciation, Dr. Mamman described the award as a humbling and motivating recognition of the collective efforts being made by the administration of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule to revamp the educational sector.
He dedicated the award to all education stakeholders in Nasarawa State and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the state with integrity and passion.
“I am truly honored by this recognition from such a reputable institution. This award is not just for me, but for the entire education family in Nasarawa State.
It will further inspire us to do more in shaping a brighter future for our children,” Dr. Mamman said.
