Chukwudi Dumeme , infamously known as Evans, has shocked many with his academic turnaround while serving time in prison.
According to his lawyer, Evans scored A1 in all his National Examinations Council (NECO) papers and has now progressed to 200-level at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
Once a feared kidnap kingpin, Evans' transformation is credited to a Federal Government scholarship, which has allowed him to pursue education behind bars.
His lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, continues to defend his right to legal representation despite public sentiment against him.
