DG NASIRDA, Commissioner for Environment Strengthen Ties for Economic Growth

The Director General of the Nasarawa State Investment and Development Agency (NASIDA), Ibrahim Abdullahi, has emphasized the need for collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to align with Governor Abdullahi Sule’s economic transformation agenda.

He made the appeal during a congratulatory visit to the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Barr. Isaac Danladi, at his office in Lafia.

According to the NASIDA boss, Governor Sule made a strategic decision by appointing Hon. Danladi to the State Executive Council and assigning him to oversee the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources. 
He reaffirmed NASIDA’s commitment to working closely with the ministry to achieve its set objectives.

In response, Hon. Barr. Isaac Danladi described the ministry as the economic lifeline of the state, stressing the need for intensified efforts to boost internally generated revenue (IGR).
 He emphasized that leveraging the state’s natural resources efficiently would contribute significantly to economic growth.

He further assured that under his leadership, the ministry would implement policies and initiatives aimed at maximizing revenue generation while ensuring environmental sustainability.

Hon. Danladi also expressed gratitude to Governor Sule for entrusting him with the responsibility of serving as a commissioner, commending the administration’s decision to engage young, talented individuals in key positions to drive Nasarawa State’s development.
