The leadership of the Kilema Youths Development Association Lafia (KIYDAL) has extended warm congratulations to the Muslim community across Nigeria in celebration of this year’s Eid-Maulud, a festival symbolizing peace, unity, forgiveness, and love for humanity.
In a message addressed to journalists in Lafia, the association's Chairman, Malam Shehu Abbas, called on the Muslim Ummah to seize the occasion as an opportunity to seek Allah’s intervention in addressing the nation's economic hardships, hunger, and insecurity.
He emphasized that the Eid-Maulud celebration highlights the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), including forgiveness, sacrifice, submission, and love for humanity.
Abbas further encouraged Nigerians, especially Muslims, to embody the teachings of the Holy Prophet, using the lessons from the Maulud to inspire younger generations to adopt his exemplary lifestyle in their daily activities.
