The Director General of the National Directorate of Employment, Silas Agara, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Muslims on the special occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, highlighting the significance of this celebration for the Islamic community.

"In times of trial and tribulation, it is vital that we embody these virtues to foster peace and understanding within our communities," he stated.
Additionally, the DG emphasized the importance of spreading love and kindness during the festive season.
He reminded Muslims that the true essence of Eid-El-Maulud lies in selflessness and service to others. This, he argued, is the best way to honor the legacy of the Prophet, who devoted his life to uplifting the marginalized and promoting harmony among diverse groups.
In light of the ongoing challenges faced by many communities, Agara called on Muslim leaders and followers to engage in acts of charity and community service. He encouraged them to organize initiatives that support the less fortunate, especially during this blessed period, thereby reflecting the Prophet's emphasis on social responsibility and compassion.
Moreover, he expressed hope that the celebration would inspire unity among Muslims and promote interfaith dialogue.
As communities come together to celebrate, it is an ideal moment to build bridges, foster mutual respect, and enhance coexistence among people of different faiths. "Let us use this occasion to strengthen our bonds and work towards a society free from discrimination and hatred," Agara urged.
