Isn't it laughable that a so-called integrity group will not have the honour and decency to put a name to its rejoinder in response to an earlier publication by a group you referred to as faceless group which has a name, a face and signature?
Another lie by Mr. integrity was that the stakeholders have zoned the position to Piapung as claimed in a publication by an unknown group with and unknown identity. You don't need a soothsayer to tell you that assertion is not only unpopular but it does not resonate with the districts. This can only exist in the figment of writer's imagination. If truly the stakeholders resolved that Chairmanship position should be zoned to Piapung, why then are we having contestants across all the districts in Mikang in all political parties picking forms for the position of the Chairman for the first time in the history of the Local government? Why are the stakeholders not persuading their people not to go against their earlier resolution? Why are all the district jettisoning the zoning principles.? This is a clear indication that the concocted lies of the acclaimed integrity group of Mikang is not in line with the realities on ground.
Why didn't Mr integrity mention that it was a Piapung man that truncated the gentleman arrangement of rotating elective offices amongst the districts that has been the practice since 1999?. You obviously don't want the world to see through the injustice of having an elected member of the house of Assembly and an elected local government Chairman from one district while other districts can go to hell as far as your aim is achieved.
And to your assertion that 30% of Montol district is made up of Tahl and Taroh people. We are not surprised at the extent and the lies you are ready to spew in your quest towards achieving your aim. As much as we agree with you that no district, town, state or country is 100% inhabited by its aboriginals- not Garkawa, Piapung or Koenoem. The Tehl man welcome visitors and is always willing to welcome more due to his accommodating disposition, but such spurious figure (30%) can only be churned by someone that wants to massage his delusional grandeur. Let's even assume, without conceding that what you said is the truth. Does it mean that the votes should not be counted for Montol? Have you also taken time to find out the number of Tehl people in other districts?How come those phantom 30% of yours have not been able to elect a single Councilor from within them? And while you are trying to concoct other lies for answer, can you tell us the percentage of Koenoem people in your district, since you have to negotiate and rotate councillorship with other settlers because of their compelling numbers.
You also alleged that in some local governments in plateau a state, those voted we boast of can be gotten from a ward but Mr. integrity failed to tell us if the votes from his district is up to one or two polling units in other local governments.
The Tehl P.D.P. Vanguard appeal to the Governor to address the power miscalculation in Mikang by ensuring that there's a level playing ground for all the contestants to ensure the will of the people prevails in the upcoming primaries. Secondly Mr Governor should kindly ensure that those who intend to governed by proxy do not succeed in forcing their unpopular decision on the masses. They are already dropping the name of the Governor in order to push through their agenda. Allowing such characters to succeed will only spell doom for the party, If not now then in the near future.
The Tehl Vanguard wishes to state in clear terms that in spite of the numerical strength of Telh district which Mr. integrity hates to admit, has never contemplate to dominate and it's not planning to do so.That was why in the build up to 2023 general election, we did not only insist that the position of the state house of assembly should be ceded to Garkawa (while others had a preferred candidate), but worked and canvassed for votes to ensure that a Hon. Moses Sule emerged for the first time as an elected member of the state house of assembly from Garkawa. The Tehl have utmost respect for every district that's mindful of the name Mikang in all its dealings but will not keep mute when injustice is being perpetrated.The Tehl vanguard are of the view that Garkawa district, having previously sacrificed for the collective good will be supported in the future to realize its quest to represent Mikang in the state house of assembly. Let them know that those who worked against you yesterday will not relent to relegate you to the background when they have another opportunity.
The Tehl PDP Vanguard still insist that having the elected Member of the State House of Assembly and the Executive Chairman of the Local government from the same district is not only ill-conceived, ill-advised but steeped in injustice, and this is capable setting the Local Government on the path of confusion.
