The Executive Chairman of Lafia Local Government, Hon. Aminu Maifata, has initiated a comprehensive water drainage evaluation project to tackle the recurring issue of waterlogging and flooding in the area.
Hon. Maifata, who also holds the positions of Nasarawa State ALGON Chairman and National President of ALGON, has commissioned NATA'ALAH Waste and Facility Services LTD for the task.
This project aims to ensure the smooth flow of water and prevent flooding during rainfall, thereby reducing the risks of waterborne diseases and property damage.
It is part of the local government's broader efforts to enhance living conditions and infrastructure in Lafia.
