Highlighting the virtues exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.), the Chairman called on Muslims to embrace love, obedience, and sacrifice. "Eid-El-Kabir teaches us about the virtues of love, obedience, and sacrifice," he noted.
He urged the Muslim faithful to use this occasion to foster harmonious coexistence through forgiveness and by assisting the less privileged. Additionally, he encouraged the community to strengthen their devotion and commitment to the will of Allah.
The Chairman further appealed to the Muslim faithful to avoid any unlawful behavior that could disrupt the relative peace enjoyed in the area and the state at large.
"We must remain resolute and committed to maintaining peace and unity in our community," he stressed. He expressed his appreciation for the support he has received from the citizens in his efforts to steer the affairs of the Council.
Hon. Shehu also used the occasion to commend the citizens for their steadfast support and urged them to continue praying for and supporting the leadership of Nasarawa State.
