Governor Sule Calls for Peace, Unity, and Security in Nasarawa State During Eid-el-Kabir Celebration

Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community in Nasarawa State on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

 In his Sallah message, Governor Sule emphasized the importance of selflessness, brotherhood, and adherence to Allah's commands, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon Him).

Reflecting on the significance of Eid-el-Kabir, Governor Sule urged Muslims to use the occasion to strengthen their relationship with God and their fellow human beings. 

He called for peace, love, tolerance, and good neighborliness, in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The governor also requested prayers for the safety and spiritual fulfillment of Nasarawa State pilgrims currently performing the Hajj in Saudi Arabia. 

He expressed hope that their prayers would contribute to the wellbeing of the state and the nation.

Governor Sule took the opportunity to denounce the recent spate of kidnappings in the state, warning that the government would not tolerate such criminal activities. 

He assured citizens that security agencies are actively working to maintain peace and security.

Amidst ongoing national challenges, Governor Sule called for patience and resilience from the people, pledging that the government would continue its efforts to alleviate hardships. 

He also urged citizens to support their leaders to achieve good governance.

As the Eid-el-Kabir festivities approach, Governor Sule reminded road users to adhere to traffic regulations and called on the Federal Road Safety Commission and other security agencies to enforce these laws diligently.

Concluding his message, Governor Sule wished all residents a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration, with the prayer, "Taqabbalallahu Minna Wa Minkum" (May Allah accept our good deeds).
