In a recent press release, the APC New Media Campaign Directorate for the Edo Governorship Campaign Council has expressed dissatisfaction with Governor Godwin Obaseki's administration, citing numerous unfulfilled promises.
The APC criticized the governor's failure to deliver on key areas:
Road Infrastructure:
Many neighborhoods remain inaccessible with poorly constructed or abandoned roads.
Healthcare:
Hospitals lack necessary resources, and promised improvements have not materialized.
Education:
Schools are deteriorating with insufficient learning tools, and some classrooms are even being encroached upon by livestock.
Economic Development:
The anticipated job opportunities and economic growth have not been realized, with high unemployment persisting.
The APC urged Edo citizens to elect a leader who will deliver tangible results, endorsing Senator Monday Okpebholo as a candidate committed to real change and development for the state.
The statement emphasized that voting for the PDP in the upcoming elections would be akin to extending Governor Obaseki’s tenure and continuing the cycle of unmet promises.
